T.J. Brooks operates a 14,000 m2 self-contained facility to manufacture, heat-treat, process, and final test a wide variety of fasteners. Our products are used worldwide in airframe, aero-engine, and space applications. Moreover, our designs, materials, and strict manufacturing controls allow our product to be selected for use in other critical applications and demanding service environments including power generation, wind turbines, marine, and performance motorsport.
Founded in 1936, T.J. Brooks became part of the SPS Technologies group in 1979, which in turn was acquired by PCC in 2003.
Equipment & Buildings
Using state of the art digitalization and robotics, our 14,000 square meter facility includes full capability in the following areas: forge, thread roll, CNC machine, grind, heat treat, and final test. We produce fasteners from 3mm (No.4) to 32mm (1.25”) in a variety of materials including alloy and stainless steel, titanium, INCONEL®, WASPALOY®, and MULTIPHASE® (including MP159®).

Design Capabilities
With our own rich history and relationship with other SPS Technologies companies, T.J. Brooks can call on more than 100 years of expertise in materials evaluation, fastener design, manufacturing, and product development. We support our customers with in-house tool design, 3D modeling, full mechanical testing, and extensive use of APQP, PFMEA, 8D PPAP.
Qualifications & Approvals
Holding full ISO 9100 approval, our systems are approved by world-leading OEM’s including Airbus, Rolls Royce, and Leonardo.
Engine Bolts & Nuts
SPS Technologies T.J. Brooks manufactures a variety of high strength bolts and nuts to meet the demanding service conditions and reliability requirements of gas turbine engines.We work with INCONEL® 718, MP159®, WASPALOY®, A286, and alloy steel.
Product lines include 12-point nuts and bolts, blade locking nuts (pagoda nuts), shank nuts, shoulder bolts, turbine tie rods, and other specialty configurations.
Pin Fastening Systems
SPS Technologies T.J. Brooks manufactures pins and collars in a variety of materials including titanium, alloy steel, corrosion-resistant steel, and INCONEL® 718.
We are licensed to manufacture brand name pin systems sold under the trademarks HST® (Hi-Lite®), HL® (Hi-Lok®), and HLT® (Hi-Tigue®).
Screws
SPS Technologies T.J. Brooks manufactures airframe screws with a variety of recess configurations to cover many aircraft applications.
